Wallin’s February victories

In February, Mr. Wallin obtained a dismissal for a client who had been charged with a DUI after being pulled over for a seat belt violation.  The officer claimed that he detected an odor of burnt cannabis and that the client admitted having smoked a “blunt” a few hours before.  This client was facing not only a misdemeanor DUI, punishable by up to 364 days in jail and a fine of up to $2,500, but also a one year license suspension for refusing to provide a blood or urine sample.  Mr. Wallin obtained rescission of the license suspension and dismissal of all charges.  The client is so happy with Mr. Wallin’s representation that he has already referred another client to his office.  Mr. Wallin also obtained dismissal of all charges for another client who was arrested in Chicago for driving with a suspended license and possession of cannabis.
