Wallin’s May Victories

This month, Harold L. Wallin obtained rescission of two client’s statutory summary suspensions, one at the Skokie Courthouse and the other at the Markham Courthouse.  Mr. Wallin also was able to get another client’s Chicago DUI reduced to reckless driving on the day of trial (this client’s summary suspension had been rescinded previously).  Also, Mr. Wallin prevailed on a Motion to Suppress, successfully arguing that one of the Chicago Police Department’s top DUI cops had pulled over his client without justification.  The judge agreed and stated that for the first time since he became a judge, he doubted an officer’s credibility.  (This client’s suspension had also been rescinded on an earlier court date).
